The 113th Carnival of Personal Finance
The 113th Carnival of Personal Finance is up at My Open Wallet. Here are a couple of my favorites.
- The Four Pillars talks about financial mistakes new parents make when planning for a new baby. This article really fits in closely with our philosophy of less is more. Although we bought a lot of stuff for the baby, there is quite a bit of stuff we didn’t buy, and some stuff we bought used.
- Mighty Bargain Hunter talks about another good reason to pay cash for a car. We bought our most recent car using cash, and it was great for us since we have no payments on it. MBH talks about another advantage of paying cash - you might get the car over someone else who is trying to use credit. In life, Cash On Hand is a great bargaining tool.
That’s it for this carnival. We’ll see you all again next week!
